THE Loddon Valley Football-Netball League will take a "deal with it if it arises" approach should its upcoming finals series be impacted by another regional lockdown that would again halt sporting competitions.
The LVFNL finals series begins this Saturday - albeit without spectators again - following a home and away season that had five rounds lost due to snap lockdowns.
Should there be further weekends lost in the finals and games can't be played due to the return of restrictions closing down regional sport, LVFNL executive officer Laura Naughton said the league would deal with it at the time.
"A call will be made at a time if a situation is presented," Naughton said on Wednesday.
"The board has had some discussions, but at this stage we are all systems go for the next four weeks and hope to get it all completed in that time.
"Should we not than the board will reconvene and have a plan of attack."
The finals begin on Saturday with the qualifying final at Serpentine followed by the elimination final at Marong on Sunday, with the league planning to live stream both senior games - Marong v Bridgewater on Saturday and Pyramid Hill v Bears Lagoon-Serpentine on Sunday.
Streaming details are still to be confirmed.
Meanwhile, the LVFNL will hold its vote count on Monday, August 30, on 101.5 Fresh FM.
However, there won't be a presentation night this year, with the league to instead present all winners on grand final day, which is scheduled to be held at Maiden Gully on Saturday, September 11.
