Some Bendigo businesses have joined the vaccination push by giving workers a deadline to receive their jab.

Bendigo Health and Hazeldene Chicken Farm are leading the charge as both businesses employees became eligible in early stages of the federal government's vaccine roll-out.
Bendigo Health spokesperson said they would encourage other businesses to follow suite when eligible.
"Bendigo Health encourages everyone who is eligible to get vaccinated," the spokesperson said.
"More than 80 per cent of Bendigo Health staff have received their first dose of the vaccine."

Hazeldene Chicken Farm's staff are closing in on an 80 per cent vaccination rate a year after a COVID-19 outbreak erupted there.
It currently boasts a 70 per cent full vaccination rate among its 840-odd workers.
Premier Daniel Andrews wants 60 per cent of Victorians vaccinated by the end of September during a push revealed last Friday.
The Qantas Group announced on Wednesday that it will require all employees, including those operating out of Bendigo Airport, to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as part of the national carrier's commitment to safety.
Frontline employees; including cabin crew, pilots and airport workers, will need to be fully vaccinated by November 15, and the remainder of employees by March 31, 2022.
There will be exemptions granted for those who are unable for documented medical reasons to be vaccinated.
Telstra chief executive Andy Penn wrote a letter to his employees on Monday urging them to get vaccinated when eligible.
"This is a global emergency that has seen some of us lose loved ones - and even more of us separated from family interstate and abroad," Mr Penn wrote.
Getting vaccinated will make an incredible difference - we can protect each other, lessen the financial hardship on families, and turnaround the toll on our wellbeing caused by the uncertainty and isolation from rolling lockdowns.

"Now is the time to act - to roll-up our sleeves and get vaccinated, or make an informed decision so you are ready when supplies are available to you.
"I've had the jab and I know many of you have as well, but it is something I urge all of you to do, as soon as you can.
"This is our best shot to get back to some sort of normality."
