The state government is launching a new advertising campaign in the coming days to encourage Victorians to see that their possible cold symptoms might not just be a cold, it might be COVID-19 symptoms.
The new campaign "Only a Test Can Tell" will launch across all media platforms in the coming days, including television and radio networks today.
Victorian Health Minister Martin Foley said children were greatly affected by the Delta-variant of coronavirus currently facing Melburnians.
"Of the 246 active cases that we currently have in Victoria, 56 are aged under the age of nine years old and 55 are aged between 10-19," Mr Foley said.
"Yesterday, we administered 27,123 vaccines in our State-run clinics and an even higher number through our GPs and primary health care providers and that was pleasing to see.
"In our State-run clinics we have now passed more than two million doses administered by our teams in those locations.
"We have seen over four million right across the State from all platforms of delivery.
"I want to thank all those Victorians for coming forward and getting tested."
Bendigo Health announced on Tuesday night that the Mollison Street Mass Vaccination Centre had administer 50,000 COVID-19 vaccinations in 12 weeks.
COVID-19 response commander Jeroen Weimar ran through the day's new coronavirus cases.
"Of the cases today, 10 are associated with students and household members of Al-Taqwa College," he said.
"We've seen this pattern of the virus continuing to be aggressive in those households. Three students and seven household members.
"There are four household members associated with Glenroy West Primary School and the Glenroy West cluster. That gives us 14.
"There are two contact associated with retail facilities in Caroline Springs Square Shopping Centre.
"ne household member associated with Newport Footy Club.
"And two new cases associated with the other positive cases at 480 Lygon Street we identified a couple of days ago. Both those cases have moved out; one is at 480 Lygon Street and the other at 510 Lygon Street.
"We have other cases under investigation; one is a case in Glenroy, we have two separate cases in Altona North and finally we have a teenager from Glen Eira who works at a pizza store in Malvern East that we listed yesterday."

There are 12 people currently in hospital with two of those are in ICU. There are 15,000 primary close contact health officials are following up.

Bendigo fell to second place in the race to get vaccinated in the Victorian leaderboard. The federal government's Geographic Vaccination Rates report revealed Bendigo's population now sits at 57.4 per cent over 15 years receiving one dose of a coronavirus vaccine, a rise of 3.4 per cent in a week, and 33 per cent receiving two.
Warrnambool and the south-west region is in first place with 57.9 per cent of their population over 15 receiving their first dose and Geelong leads the second dose tally with 33.9 per cent of their population fully vaccinated.
Mr Weimar was also pleased with the vaccination uptake across the state.
"I'm also pleased to report that for the over 70s in Victoria, 84 per cent have had their first dose of vaccine, and 52 per cent are now fully vaccinated," he said.
"For those in their of 60s, 76 per cent had have had their first dose of vaccine. For those in their 50s, like me, 70 per cent, have had their first dose of vaccine and 30 per cent are fully vaccinated.
"Those in their 40s, 62 per cent have had the first dose and 30 per cent are fully vaccinated.
"The numbers are starting to become encouraging and good, but there is more to do. We have 25,000 appointments available for first-dose Pfizer this week and next week. I'd like people to come forward today to start making use of those doses.
"We have 24 thousand first-dose AstraZeneca appointments available today and we'd love people to come forward and get vaccinated.
"We need more and more people coming forward every day, every week, to continue the vaccination and get us beyond these outbreaks."

Earlier, 8.55am: Victoria's has recorded 24 new coronavirus cases since Tuesday.
All 24 of the new COVID-19 cases were locally-acquired with 20 linked to known outbreaks.
Of the 24 new cases, 18 were in isolation during their infectious period.

Tuesday also bought 39,832 test results to Victorians as well as 27,173 vaccinations being administered.
Victoria's active coronavirus case tally now sits at 246.
These case numbers come as staff at a local winery turned away multiple Melburnians at the weekend.
Balgownie Estate Bendigo event manager Lucy Everitt said at least 15 people came to the venue who then had to be asked to leave.
"Staff turned away six or seven carloads full of people," she said.
"We would love to have those people out here, especially Melbourne people, but we are the ones who get the fines.
"A lot of people in Melbourne are careless about that and don't think about the businesses they're going to, which is quite sad in a way."

The Heathcote Winemakers Association has cancelled the annual Heathcote Food and Wine Festival for the second year in a row.
President Ian Hopkins said members and stall holders had been considering their next steps for the past few weeks.
"We would have to spend more than $50,000 to book and get this event up and running," he said.
"Our deadline on making that decision was getting closer and closer and we made had to make the call."
