Premier Daniel Andrews has confirmed an extra 84,000 vaccine appointments will be added to the government website from Sunday.
Mr Andrews said an extra 300,000 appointments will be available as part of the one million jabs goal over the next five weeks.
"That is good news, we always want to see more vaccine rather than less," he said.
"I'm not entirely certain of when that will come to us and I wouldn't advise anyone to change their plans based on that."
Mr Andrews said residents should get the vaccine at the earliest opportunity.
"The more people that are vaccinated faster, then the greater benefit to all of us," he said.
"That's why we want to get a million, if not more, jabs into arms over the next couple of weeks."
There are now more than 500 exposure sites listed across Victoria.
Four more people have died as the whole state continues in lockdown.

VICTORIA has recorded 25 new local COVID-19 cases overnight.
Another 32,286 were tested and 23,046 were vaccinated, new Department of Health figures released this morning show.
Of the 25 locally-acquired cases, 21 are linked to known outbreaks and 12 have been in isolation throughout their infectious period.
There are now 185 active cases.
Health Minister Martin Foley said with cases erupting in multiple Melbourne suburbs, vaccination efforts need to be redoubled.
"We're expanding the capacity of existing centres with more booths and our booking system is constantly, as more supply comes on board, being updated to accommodate new supply," he told reporters on Saturday.
The new cases come as all of NSW went into locked down on Saturday evening after reporting 466 new locally acquired cases of COVID-19.
Saturday was the state's worst day during the pandemic so far.
Four deaths were also recorded: a woman in her 40s, a man in his 70s, a woman in her 70s, and a man in his 80s in NSW.
