Rochester Police are asking the community for assistance in relation to a speeding vehicle.

Police said on Tuesday, August 10 at around 6am, a dark coloured sedan was observed driving east on Gillies Street, Rochester on incorrect side of the road at a very fast rate of speed.
The same vehicle remained on the incorrect side of the road for approximately 200 metres as it sped past the BP Service Station on the Northern Hwy, Police say.
The vehicle was last seen turning onto Echuca Road.
It comes after a dangerous driver who had only four months of driving experience was clocked at speeds approaching 200 kilometres an hour in northern Victoria.
Brimbank Highway Patrol caught the driver while they were assisting with COVID-19 border patrols in the Echuca area.
Officers clocked the 18 year old female driving her Commodore at 194km/h on a poorly lit country road near Rochester.
