And to celebrate, a new Love Your Local offer gives residents the opportunity to enjoy a Bendigo Tramways Vintage Talking Tram Tour, or descend underground at Central Deborah Gold Mine on an experience tour at reduced prices.
With travel restrictions still in place, it is the perfect opportunity for residents to try something new, whilst uncovering more about the fascinating heritage of their hometown.
"We regularly hear from locals that they have never been underground on a mine tour or stepped on board a Vintage Talking Tram before, which is why we developed the Love Your Local deal," Bendigo Heritage Attractions chief executive James Reade said.
"We wanted to make it as affordable as possible for locals to experience, whilst also recognising their ongoing support of our heritage sites."
