The two teams from the FIDA Central Victoria conference were first set to compete in the premiership match last month, but were unable due to an earlier snap lockdown.
"It's disappointing as we've now had a couple grand finals cancelled," Bendigo Suns chair Daniel Wridgway said.
"We were all eager to get over to sunny Trentham for the grand final clash with Ballarat."
"Everyone is in the same scenario, so as a team we're remaining positive, optimistic, connected and focused on what we can control.
"The grand final will definitely be rescheduled.
"We will just have to wait and see what happens with any future government restrictions."
One positive for the Suns was getting back together for a training session at Harry Trott on Wednesday.
"The weather was cold but everyone was thrilled to be at a training session," Wridgway said.
"Most of all they were excited to be back around each other after those few weeks where we couldn't train."
FIDA is a state-wide league that provides Victorians with an intellectual impairment the opportunity to play a sport they truly love."
