The only maths South Bendigo coach Nathan Horbury is interested in is the amount of points his Bloods need to accumulate to qualify for the BFNL finals.

There's a possibility the Bloods could win all four of their remaining games - Golden Square (home), Kangaroo Flat (away), Maryborough (home) and Eaglehawk (away) - and push for a top-three berth.
For now, Horbury's focus is on cementing fifth place on the ladder and that starts this Saturday with a QEO date with third-placed Golden Square.
The Bloods have 32 points and a percentage of 152.05 - one win and 19.65 per cent behind the Bulldogs and, more importantly, two wins ahead of sixth-placed Eaglehawk.
"At the minute it's just about playing finals for the first time in a long time (2012),'' Horbury said.
"If we could win all four of our games and push for the double-chance that would be amazing, but that's not in our thoughts at the moment.
"We're not getting ahead of ourselves. Eaglehawk could still jump ahead of us for fifth spot.
"This week against Golden Square is massive for us. If we can get a win there then that really sets us up for a crack at the finals.
"Maryborough and Kangaroo Flat are games we should win and then we finish with Eaglehawk.
"If we can win this weekend it keeps that gap between us and Eaglehawk in the race for the finals, so this is a very important game for us."
When the Bloods and Square met in June, Square won by 28 points in a game that had some wild momentum swings.
South kicked five of the first six goals of the game before Square surged to lead by 16 points at half-time.
The Bloods bounced back to hit the front in the final term only for Square to surge clear late in the match.
"Last time we played Square both teams had a few players out,'' Horbury said.
"In the first quarter we showed we could match it with them and then in the second quarter we didn't stack up, but to have the side we had in that day and push them into the final quarter like we did...we certainly think we're capable of winning this week.
"We're looking forward to getting back on the QEO because that's where we play our best footy and our fitness stands up on the bigger ground.
"We'll go in confident that we can beat them, for sure."
Season-ending injuries aside, the Bloods will have close to a full list to choose from this week.
The availability of Northern Bullants VFL midfielder/forward Sunny Brazier will be vital to the Bloods' chances.
"We should get Cam Taggart back from a hamstring injury and we're not sure if Sunny Brazier will be available because of the VFL,'' Horbury said.
"We'd love to get Sunny back if we can.
"Tom Brereton has a nick in his quad, so we won't get him back until late in the season."
No matter what happens in the next month, Horbury would like to continue coaching the Bloods in 2022.
"If the club is happy for me to go again next year then I'd be happy to coach again,'' Horbury said.
"Hopefully, we can keep this list together and build on it."
