Kyneton Police confirmed they were investigating an allegation of an assault between an inmate and a youth custody worker.
Police said investigations were ongoing.

Malmsbury Youth Justice Centre has recorded its third incident in just 18 days against a staff member.
A Department of Justice and Community Safety spokesperson confirmed an incident occurred on Tuesday, August 3 before 12pm.
"A staff member has been transported to hospital for assessment and Victoria Police were notified," the spokesperson said.
"Ambulance Victoria were not required to attend.
"The safety of staff and young people in youth justice is our utmost priority - violent behaviour isn't tolerated which is why there are strict laws in place that ensure tough consequences for young people who assault custodial workers.
"Victoria takes a zero-tolerance approach to violence and assaults in youth justice centres. All incidents and allegations are referred to Victoria Police."
A Community and Public Sector Union Victoria spokesman also confirmed an incident took place on Tuesday morning at the Malmsbury Youth Justice Centre that involved glass.
"There was another assault this morning with the victim receiving a slash with glass to the face and head," he said. "We don't know the circumstances of the assault.
"There have been three incidents in 18 days and then there was another bad assault three weeks before that.
"We're having a bad run."

The Department of Justice spokesperson said new laws were now in place that strengthen the consequences for young people who assault custodial workers, including a presumption that if convicted they will serve their sentence on top of any other period of detention.
To improve safety within youth justice centres the department has introduced dynamic risk assessments, additional behaviour support specialists, targeted behavioural programs and an Intensive Intervention Unit for the most high-risk young people in custody.
