Exhibition coordinator Michelle McGoldrick developed the idea after completing ADAPT Loddon Mallee's Regional Climate Leadership Program run by DELWP.
"The idea started and the seed sown through (that) program," she said. "I put out an expression of interest (to artists) a couple of months ago and interest in exhibition was strong."

Ms McGoldrick selected 20 artists to take part in the ADAPT Loddon Mallee-funded exhibition - titled "Climate Resilience is..." - based on responses the work might get, the diversity of the artworks and location of the artists in relation to the Loddon Mallee.
"We have 20 really diverse, interesting, poignant and dynamic pieces of art," Ms McGoldrick said. "I hope they are challenging and thought provoking (for visitors) and that it makes them wonder what their contribution would be around climate resilience.
There are some themes around the exhibition such as water management, habitat protection, recycling, bushfire and communities working together with a shared goal. I hope people are inspired to go and initiate some climate action themselves.
"It's very grassroots reflection, we're not talking about big solar farms, we're talking about people at a grassroots level. The artists are reflection of what's happening in the community and people need to the see the work themselves for it to resonate.
Climate resilience is... is open to the public at Dudley House from Saturday August 7 to Monday August 9 between 10am and 5pm. Entry is free.
