Jesse Long, 26, appeared in the Bendigo Magistrates' Court on Friday where he pleaded guilty to seven charges, including exposing a police officer to risk by driving.
The court heard on November 27 last year, two police officers were patrolling the Bendigo area in their search for a man who was wanted on warrants.
The officers knocked on the door of a Drought Street address where they believed the offender was, but no one answered.
They set up surveillance near the property in an unmarked police car and about an hour later, Long pulled up to the address in a Toyota Corolla.
The officers saw the man who was wanted on warrants run from the property and into Long's waiting car.
The police officers parked their car in front of Long's in an attempt to stop the pair from fleeing, but Long reversed at speed into the police car.
Long then collided into another Ford ute that was parked on the side of the road.
The cars came to a stop and the officers again parked their car in front of Long's to try and stop him.
As one of the officers started to exit the car, Long again rammed the police vehicle, causing damage to the front passenger side.
Long reversed back and again collided with the police car, before he sped off down Flood Street.
The court heard it cost police $3612.93 to repair the damaged car.
Officers found the damaged Toyota Corolla in Kangaroo Flat bushland on December 1.

The inside of the car had been sprayed with a corrosive substance so investigators were unable to find forensic evidence.
Police went to Long's Kangaroo Flat home later that day and arrested him after he tried to flee on foot.
They searched his house and found an LSD tablet, an iPad, and the keys to the Toyota Corolla.
During his record of interview, Long denied any knowledge of the police ramming incident.
He told police he would have been home playing Xbox at the time because he had been recovering from a motorbike accident.
Defence lawyer Robert Morgan told the court Long was genuinely remorseful for his "atrocious and appalling" offending.
Mr Morgan said since Long was granted bail in January, he had completed a drug rehabilitation program and obtained a full-time job.
The defence lawyer said Long had pleaded guilty at an early stage and made efforts to rehabilitate himself, so a community corrections order would be an appropriate sentence.
Magistrate Russell Kelly described Long's offending as a "cowboy episode".
"There could have much more serious consequences," he said.
Mr Kelly said he would ordinarily sentence a person to six months in jail for such serious offending.
But the magistrate said it was also in the community's interest that Long continued his rehabilitation.
Long was convicted and sentenced to 48 days in custody, which were reckoned as already served, and a two-year community corrections order.
His licence was cancelled and he was disqualified from driving for two years.
