Formerly home to restaurant Rocks on Rosalind, which closed last year, the building was built in the 1860s.
It was listed for sale in August last year.
The historic building has been purchased by David Cook-Doulton and Martin Shew from Ballarat.

"We think the building is spectacular," he said. "The View Street and Rosalind Park precincts are some of the most beautiful historic locations in Australia.
"I love the Bendigo arts precinct. I think that the Bendigo Art Gallery is world class. To support this area, with a complementary accommodation and dining offer has been a long-held dream for me.
"To be able to invest and support this area, whilst preserving an iconic architectural building is such an amazing opportunity."
Mr Cook-Doulton and Mr Shew are behind the development of boutique accommodation Lascelles Terrace and Lyon House in Ballarat and are currently redeveloping Hotel Vera in an old mansion in Ballarat's Sturt Street.
Hotel Vera will open in April, 2022, and feature seven suites and a premium restaurant. Mr Cook-Doulton said the Bendigo business will develop into a similar business over time.
"We see the Bendigo site mirroring this concept whist being reflective of Bendigo's own unique character and history," he said.
"It will be business as usual with the existing configuration, though styling updates will be made progressively over the coming months.
"Once Hotel Vera Ballarat has been established, we will look at activating the restaurant space for Bendigo and upgrade the furnishings of the hotel with a contemporary luxe overlay."
Mr Cook-Doulton said he hopes to support and showcase local producers and artists with a sustainable and ethical ethos.
"We want the hotel and restaurant spaces to be activated and alive," he said. "I think that great buildings are like people, treat them with respect and they will tell you what they need.
"I want to take the time and ensure we understand the building and the opportunity. I want to create something that is respectful to the past yet adds a new chapter for the future."
