Braves are third on the ladder with a 10-2 record and as soon as the green light comes through for the season to recommence, they are ready to pick up where they left off.
"It all comes down to, first and foremost, the diligence of my teaching throughout the beginning and middle of the season which we'll need to anchor to very quickly once we restart," Braves coach Mark Alabakov said.
"We have plenty of residual knowledge, fitness and skill that won't take long to replenish to regain our tempo."
Home lockdown workouts and online sessions are nothing new to athletes and this approach has remained part of the Braves' plan to ensure the players remain at their best for when the season resumes.
"Everybody has been banding together to keep fit at home and the athletes that live together remain diligent among each other to maintain general physical preparedness," Alabakov said.
"However, there's no substitute for being out on court.
"Once we're able to do so, our approach will be to best manage the sweet spot between getting time on court whilst not overloading.
"Given that we've had a period of time off and only had that small gap to the previous lockdown, It will require intelligence and diligence once we're back to ensure players are all injury free and also game ready."
As a coach Alabakov has gone above and beyond to continue sharpening his own skills as a leader during the recent lockdown.
"There are three main streams I've proactively focused on," he said.
"I've been keeping my mind active through professional development related to communication.
"I've been learning by watching clinics to discover new strategies to keep up my sleeve once we return
"And because we don't know when lockdown will end I've prepared and scouted for the opponents we were meant to face but also used this Olympic preparation to scout a swag of matches with the eye if I was coaching."
He's also eagerly awaiting the Opals first game on Tuesday night to cheer on the Braves players in Tessa Lavey and Tess Madgen.
There's no exact date yet announced as to when NBL1 South will return to action, however, the Braves are scheduled for an away game this weekend against Sandringham Sabres.
Further announcements on when the league will recommence are expected later this week.
