POLICE are investigating after the Elmore IGA was ram raided in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Bendigo Detective Senior Constable Debbie Graham said police were aware of the incident on Railway Road in Elmore.
Senior Constable Graham said investigators were yet to determine if any items were taken from the store.
Police were also looking into the extent of the damage to the IGA.

Elmore Bakery co-owner Travis Wilson said his workers did not hear the ram raid but were alerted to the damage on Saturday morning.
"It's just wrong," he said. "There have been a few break-ins, which has been quite upsetting.
"Especially at times with COVID and lockdown, it's just so hard for the community."
Senior Constable Graham urged anyone who saw the incident or had information to contact the Bendigo Crime Investigation Unit on 5448 1300.
