All new cases are linked to current outbreaks and 24 of the 26 cases were in quarantine throughout their entire infectious period.
It comes as the state government announced businesses affected by the seven-day extension to Victoria's lockdown would share in an additional $282.2 million in financial support.

In a Facebook post, Chewton Service Station said the staff member was advised on Monday that she was considered a close contact of a confirmed case of COVID-19.
Victoria Police have issued infringement notices to a 62-year-old Echuca man due to breaches of chief health officer directions.
Victoria Police confirmed the man had been fined with two breaches relating to incidents on July 19 and 20 at a licensed premises in Echuca.
Each infringement notice is to the value of $10,904.00.
