A BENDIGO restaurateur has compiled a list of the city's takeaway options, hoping to encourage support for eateries struggling through another lockdown.

Masons of Bendigo owner Sonia Anthony said she'd pulled together a list of more than 100 venues, with contributions from the restaurant's Facebook followers.

Ms Anthony said she hoped to create energy for businesses, especially after venues were hit by the cancellation of the Australian Sheep and Wool Show.
She said lockdowns were exhausting for businesses, but she hoped to keep spirits up.
"Really it's about getting the message out to our community to not forget to support local businesses," Ms Anthony said.
"We've got such an incredibly community, we've got an incredible hospitality industry.
"[We need to keep] just reminding people that every dollar that they spend locally makes a really big difference."
