MONTHLY FARMERS MARKET
Join in with the Bendigo Community Farmers Market and celebrate the freshest produce and goods of regional Victoria.
This market promotes good food, fresh produce, artisans and creators.
This market will include Crossies 'Cados, Bernie's Fresh Spuds, Kingfisher Citrus, Hi Fye Pistachios, Golden Yolk Eggs, John the Oyster Bloke, Yapunyah Chicken, Arancini 4 All, Pink Muesli, Shedshaker Brewery, Flavour and Heart and so much more.
There will be something for everyone at this community market.
COVID-safe are protocols in place and sanitiser will be available for use.
Where: Bendigo Pony Club, corner of Breen Street and Belle Vue Road, Golden Square.

INGLEWOOD LIONS COUNTRY MARKET
This friendly country market is community focused and and occurs on the second Saturday of every month, COVID-19 restrictions permitting.
Stall prices start at $10 and if you are a first-time stall holder at our market the first month is free.

WESLEY HILL
Open every Saturday of the year, the Wesley Hill Market has something for everyone.
There will be unique items, fresh fruits and vegetables and much more.

MALMSBURY FARMERS AND ARTISTS MARKET
Enjoy a day out on the Malmsbury Village Green and celebrate local producers with this farmers market.
Held on the third Sunday of every month, you will find fresh fruit, vegetables, flowers, seeds and plants, meat, eggs and much more at this central Victorian event.

COMMUNITY EVENTS
DANCING FUN
Enjoy a dance event with the Spring Gully Dance committee.
This event will include music by Rita and Bob, a supper of sandwiches, slices and tea-coffee, all individually served.
Admission is $9. QR code or a manual check-in, COVID-safe rules apply.
Monday evening dances also resume from August 9. These dances include CD music, admission is $4 and time is from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.

WORDS IN WINTER WRITERS' FESTIVAL
The Words In Winter Writers' Festival celebrates the talented writers, artists and exhibitions throughout the Central Goldfields Shire.
The theme for this year's festival is renaissance.

STORYTIME SESSION
Nurture your child's listening, language and learning skills in a session of fun and stories.
This storytime event will also include songs and rhymes.

LUNCH AND CHAT
Join with others to enjoy a meal and a chat.
This social event is for those aged 55 and over, and will run every week on Tuesday. The social meeting has no joining fees.

EXHIBITIONS AND PERFORMANCES
DRAWING IS EVERYTHING
Brett Whiteley: Drawing is Everything is a major exhibition from the Art Gallery of New South Wales and is the first to explore the central place of drawing in Whiteley's practice.
The exhibition features rarely seen works through to the great abstracts that brought Whiteley international fame in the 1960s.
There will also be landscapes, portraits, interiors and nudes and the iconic imagery of Sydney's Lavender Bay.

OLYMPIC EXHIBITION
Rochester's Sports Museum is set to add to its array of sporting memorabilia with a one-off Olympic exhibition to coincide with the Tokyo Games.
The collection includes items on loan from past Olympians.
The permanent display will remain in the north room while this exhibition will be on show in the adjacent south room.
Australian cyclist Tim Decker has loaned his collection including uniforms, racing gloves, bike shoes, signed team jerseys and other items.
BMX rider Sam Willoughby has kindly loaned his 2016 medal-winning BMX and helmet for the display. These items have been borrowed through the Australian BMX Museum.
Several items are unique including a line marker from the 1956 Melbourne Games and a Choir Outfit from the 2000 Sydney Games.
There will also be a cauldron from the 2000 Sydney torch relay.
Rochester's runners are also highlighted at the exhibition with an actual torch on display.

AIGS BENDIGO FAMILY HISTORY GROUP
Join in with the AIGS Bendigo Family History Group for their August meeting.
Annette Delaney presents "An Introduction to DNA".
Develop an understanding of the basics of DNA testing, why test, what to be aware of and how it can help your traditional family research.
Stay for a cup of tea and feel welcome to enjoy our meeting with us. All interested persons are invited to attend. All welcome.
