Limited train services are departing from Bendigo, Swan Hill and Echuca until further notice.
V/Line are still urging passengers to defer non-essential travel.
V/Line have said that some services will be replaced by coaches however, coaches will not run to a timeline and will depart as they arrive at the stations.

Services are resuming on Geelong, Ballarat, Ararat, Maryborough and Seymour lines but there are significant delays.
Bendigo services are also resuming but several services are replaced by coaches due to trains being out of position.

V/Line train services said the delays were due to a Powercor outage that affected the main V/Line operations centre.
8.20am
A major power blackout and rail equipment fault is continuing to affect V/Line services.
V/Line continues to encourage passengers to postpone any non-essential travel.
In an update, a V/Line spokesperson said no train services would depart from Bendigo, Swan Hill or Echuca until further notice.
- Two coaches have dispatched to Kyneton station to run Kyneton-Southern Cross.
- One coach has been dispatched to Castlemaine station to run Castlemaine-Southern Cross.
- One coach has been dispatched to Bendigo station to run Bendigo-Southern Cross.
- One coach has been dispatched to Gisborne station to run Gisborne-Southern Cross.
Updates for the Ballarat, Ararat and Maryborough line include the following changes:
- Four coaches have dispatched to Deer Park Station to run Deer Park-Ballarat, then shuttle between Ballarat-Sunshine
- Four coaches have been dispatched to Ballarat Station to run Ballarat-Southern Cross.
- One coach has been dispatched to Sunshine Station to run shuttles between Sunshine-Ardeer-Deer Park.
- One coach has been dispatched to Deer Park Station to run Deer Park-Ballarat.

V/Line has asked passengers to defer all non essential travel.
The train operator said they are currently trying to source as many coaches as possible but due to limited availability, many services may not have coaches arranged for the next 90-120 minutes.
"We apologise for this disruption to your travel this morning," they said.
The Ballarat, Seymour, Maryborough, Ararat, Albury and Geelong lines are running with delays.
Trains are currency not running on the Bendigo, Warrnambool, Swan Hill, Echuca, Shepparton and Gippsland.

A fault is causing major delays to V/Line services, including trains on the Bendigo line.
The train operator said that due to "a rail equipment fault", coaches will replace trains.

"Due to a power fault in the CBD which has affected communication to and from the V/Line Operations Centre as well as rail equipment faults on the Bendigo and Traralgon lines, coaches will replace some trains on all lines," V/Line said in a social media post.
V/Line urged passengers to defer all non essential travel and last updated information at 6.11am.
There will also be planned service changes on the Bendigo, Echuca and Swan Hill lines this week.
V/Line said to these speed restrictions, there will be some changes to departure times on the Bendigo Line until Thursday, August 5.
