Two new coronavirus cases have been recorded in Victoria after a family in isolation tested positive after arriving from a Sydney red zone.
The cases are in two members of a City of Hume family of four who arrived from Sydney and were undergoing their mandatory 14-day quarantine.
Three members of the family returned by plan on July 4 and the fourth member returned from Sydney via car on July 8. All four family members initially returned negative tests and continued their isolation. Two family members then became symptomatic and were tested, with results coming back positive today.

The Victorian Department of Health was informed late on Sunday night of a removalist's positive test. Households visited by the case for work are isolating and have been tested.
Department of Health deputy secretary Jeroen Weimar told media this afternoon that investigations and interviews were currently being conducted regarding the new cases.
He said the removalist was part of a three person crew with another crew member who it is believed has tested positive as well.
"We have had a number of conversations with the removalist crew and their employer," Mr Weimar said. "The employer has provided fuel cards and log books.
"My understanding, at this point, is that (the crew) stayed within their cab as part of protocols but any locations they may have stopped at are still investigation.
"We are concerned the information we have (at the moment) is not as crisp and clear as we want it to be."
The removalist company had applied to a permit to be in Victoria under the national code for the freight industry.
"Both families were in contact (with the removalist) on July 8," Mr Weimar said. "At this point in time it is my understanding that the first drop off was in the City of Whittlesea and the second pick up was at Maribyrnong before the removalists headed to Adelaide, arriving in early hours of July 9.
"The removalist firm applied for a freight permit and we are following through with them to ensure that permit used properly.
"The concerns at this point are getting full understanding of the movements of the crew in our state. We also want to make sure what activity they undertook is consistent with what the freight permits are designed to do."
Mr Weimar said he expects a list of exposure sites to be confirmed later this afternoon.
The two new Victorian cases will be included in tomorrow morning's daily numbers while the removalist's case is expected to make up part of NSW's numbers tomorrow.

Victoria Police's acting deputy commissioner Michael Grainger said roaming border checkpoints allow police to more efficiently conduct compliance checks on people entering Victoria from other states.
He said 350 police are now involved in the operation that patrols the border bubble with six pop-up traffic management points being used.
"Sometime ago had we had a hard (border) lockdown with permanent vehicle checkpoints on crossing points on the border," he said.
"We found that negatively impacted those communities in the border bubble believe the current model is far more efficient.
"It conjures up an image of police being any where, any time, which is absolutely the method we like to employ rather than a fixed border checkpoint.
"The message for anyone considering breaching the rules deliberately in travelling from other states and red zones into Victoria is don't even try it. We have 350 police that are highly mobile."
The 350 police are operating in seven border zones from Mildura to Mallacoota and are being supported by police air wings.
In the last 24 hours police have conduction 2668 person checks.
"That is evidence we're really active in our task and mission to prevent people coming into Victoria," Acting Deputy Commissioner Grainger said.
"What we're finding is really high compliance rates. Since June 25 we have checked in excess of 28,000 people and close to Close to 99 er cent are compliant.
"To this point communities should be comforted by fact that we are very committed to preventing the incursion of COVID back into Victoria."

A SYDNEY removalist has travelled to homes in Victoria and South Australia while infectious with COVID-19.
Victorian Health Minister Martin Foley said on Monday the NSW government confirmed late Sunday night a Sydney removalist entered Victoria and worked in a number of homes in Melbourne on July 8.
The man stayed overnight before travelling to South Australia and back into NSW the next day.
Mr Foley said the man undertook a COVID-19 test on July 10 and received a positive result on July 11.
He said the Health Department was working with the NSW government to confirm the man's movements in Victoria.

Victoria has recorded no new locally acquired cases of coronavirus in the 24 hours to midnight as NSW braces for what could be a record daily jump in confirmed infections.
The move now means the entirety of NSW and the ACT have become red zones under Victoria's travel permit system.
More news:
NSW authorities recorded 77 new cases on Sunday morning, 33 of whom had been in the community while infectious.
It was the largest increase during the current outbreak and health authorities are bracing for the possibility that 100 new cases could be confirmed on Monday, given the number of people moving around the community while infectious.
A 90-year-old south-west Sydney woman died on Saturday, hours after being diagnosed with COVID-19.
She was a close contact of a locally acquired case and was believed to be unvaccinated.
Her death is the first since the Bondi cluster emerged on June 16, and the first connected to COVID-19 in NSW since a man died in December.
Also in Victoria on Monday morning, the Department of Health has confirmed just under 20,000 people were tested on Sunday for COVID-19 and 12,005 people were vaccinated.
In Victoria, there are currently 19 active cases.
