Douglas will be well represented with seven runners, including Vandanta, who was an impressive winner at last Saturday night's metropolitan meeting at Bendigo's Lord's Raceway.

A busy night for the stable will kick-off in race one with Pocket Thedeal taking on nine rivals in a four-year-old and over pace.

Next to make their appearance will be the three-year-old fillies Ozzie Playgirl and Pray Tell in race four.

Pray Tell, an early $12 chance, will be chasing a third-straight win, following victories at Bendigo on June 22 and Melton on July 2.

Douglas will again have two chances of a win in race five with Im No Outlaw and Vandanta going head-to-head in the NR 80 to 94 pace.

Back in Bendigo after a nearly 12-month stint in New South Wales, Vandanta has quickly found form, highlighted by his win last Saturday night.

The six-year-old gelding put the writing on the wall with a fast-finishing third at Melton the previous week and shapes as the main rival to the Andy Gath-trained Tango Tara.

Douglas has the in-form Torrid Saint as her contender in the night's feature event, the Preux Chevalier Free For All.

The five-year-old gelding has a pair of wins and a third, all at Melton, from his last five runs and was only narrowly beaten into second place behind the smart Western Sonador last week at Bendigo.

The stable's final runner will be Carload in race eight.

The eight-year-old, who has only been with the Douglases for a few months, returned to a form with a win at Melton last week, when driven by Glenn Douglas.

He will be driven on Saturday by Jack Laugher, who will also take the steers on Pocket Thedeal, Pray Tell and Vandanta

Ozzie Playgirl, Im No Outlaw and Torrid Saint will be driven by Ellen Tormey.

Douglas will head into Saturday night's meeting in brilliant form with at least six winners for the month.

Her 78 wins in total (before a pair of meetings today at Mildura and Melton) has given Douglas a seven-win lead over Emma Stewart on the trainers' premiership list.

Fellow Bendigo trainer Kate Hargreaves is third on 66 wins.

Hargreaves will have two runners at Cranbourne - Call Me Diva and Streitkid.
