The reigning premiers have picked up right from where they left off in 2019.
The experienced Superoos have answered every challenge thrown at them to hit round 11 this weekend undefeated and only one side - Bears Lagoon-Serpentine in round one - having got within six goals of them.
Again, they are proving mighty tough to score against, conceding an average of just 39 points per game. In comparison their 2019 premiership average score against was 55 points.
Not surprisingly given their strangling defensive efforts three key players from their back half - Max Simpson (No.2), Lachlan Woodward (No.11) and Luke Lougoon (No.12) - are among the top 12 of the Addy player rankings, while star midfield recruit Lee Dale is at No.1.
As a club, Mitiamo also has its A Grade netball team undefeated in its premiership defence.

After two rebuilding years in 2018 and 2019 following the club's run of eight-consecutive grand finals between 2010 and 2017 that yielded seven flags, the Mean Machine is back contending again.
Sit second on the ladder with their only blemish a 37-point loss to Mitiamo at home in round nine when they fielded a self-inflicted understrength team with four key players out suspended.
Have five of the top 12 goalkickers in the competition, including league leader Josh Martyn, whose 15-goal bag against Inglewood last weekend took him to 48 for the season.
The highest scoring team in the competition averaging 134 points per game and also ranked No.1 for both first half (+340) and second half (+391) points differential.

Could this be the year the Panthers finally break through for that elusive first premiership since 1989?
The mid-season addition of Brandyn Grenfell (27 goals in three games) certainly has the Panthers looking formidable in the front half alongside Kain Robins, giving Marong a potent 1-2 punch.
That potency will be put to the test over the coming three weeks with a trio of huge matches against Pyramid Hill, Mitiamo and Bridgewater that will most likely determine their double chance fate.
While they have put together an imposing attack, defensively, the Panthers have twice kept their opposition - Calivil United in round one and Inglewood in round eight - goal-less.
Undefeated in the reserves, so plenty of competition for spots at Malone Park.

Again in the contenders mix as they so often have been over the past 20 years.
The Bulldogs sit in fourth position and it's a fair reflection given their three losses have all been to the three teams above them.
However, two of those losses - to Marong (3 points) and Bridgewater (1 point) - have been by less than a kick, so could easily have been well placed in the top three instead of having to play the chasing game from here.
Copped a key blow earlier in the year with tough midfield Matt Pollock suffering a serious neck injury in round four that has left the Bulldogs without one of their key cogs in the engine room.

Four wins against the teams below them and four losses against the teams above them has the Bears at 4-4 and sitting in fifth position as they hunt a fourth-consecutive finals berth.
Is now a matter of whether they can hold off Maiden Gully YCW and keep hold of fifth spot.
The form of ruckman Nathan Twigg has been a highlight for the Bears, with the consistent tall having been their best player in four of their eight games.

The Eagles sit a game behind fifth-placed Bears Lagoon-Serpentine and will be stiff if the home and away season cuts off after 16 rounds and they miss out on return matches against bottom three sides Newbridge and Calivil United, who they belted in rounds one and two before embarking on a five-game losing streak.
Have had their depth challenged having used 40 players and will be needing to get somewhere near their best team on the park post the bye this week given their next three opponents are all big guns in Pyramid Hill, Mitiamo and Bridgewater.

Been tough going for the rebuilding Maroons with just the two wins against Inglewood and Calivil United
New assistant coach Harry Whittle was the Maroons' marquee signing and he hasn't disappointed having been in their best players in all nine games so far and kicked 15 of their 62 goals, while Logan Dixon is another who has performed consistently.

You could be forgiven for thinking it's a mis-print that shows Calivil United 1-8 with a percentage of just 27.6.
The Demons are renowned as a club more accustomed to being at the pointy end of the ladder, but 2021 has been a year of struggle.
Glen Scholtes is coaching a young group, but despite some heavy losses, including five by more than 100 points and two goal-less games, he hasn't questioned the effort of his players, but turnovers have hindered.

Unfortunately for Inglewood the Blues are in an all-too-familiar position at the bottom of the ladder.
Similar to Calivil United, the Blues are extremely young and have effectively gone through the entire season chasing tail having yet to lead at any of the quarter breaks.
Endured back-to-back goal-less games against Marong and Maiden Gully YCW in rounds eight and nine, but better signs last week when they kicked five against power side Bridgewater.
Used the most players of any team with 44 already, which hasn't helped.

TOP 50 ADDY PLAYER RANKINGS:
How players earn their points:
The Addy's player rankings use a system based on the weekly six best players submitted by clubs, with a weighting given towards contributions made to a winning team (similar to the starting point for umpires in casting votes post-match) that produce a ranking total.
The points system:
Winning team - 1st best (16.0 points); 2nd best (13.5); 3rd best (11.0); 4th best (8.5); 5th best (6.0); 6th best (3.5).
Losing team - 1st best (7.0); 2nd best (6.0); 3rd best (5.0); 4th best (4.0); 5th best (3.0); 6th best (2.0).
Drawn game (both teams) - 1st best (10.0); 2nd best (8.5); 3rd best (7.0); 4th best (5.5); 5th best (4.0); 6th best (2.5).
In short, the rankings aim to reflect performing consistently and playing key roles in helping teams to win games.
