Barre Society, Mackenzie Quarters, the Discovery Centre, Gathered Homewares and the Bendigo Winegrowers Association are among the businesses named as finalists in the 2021 awards, across 13 categories.
Six people have also been nominated for an award, across two categories: the Regional Women's Business Award and Young and Professional.

The announcement comes after the 2020 awards were cancelled, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Be.Bendigo runs the awards to recognise local businesses for their contribution to Greater Bendigo.
Livestock and real estate agency McKean McGregor took out the Business of the Year award in 2019.
Award winners for 2021 will be announced at a gala on August 6.
