White Night Bendigo will be delivered in line with its COVID Safe event plan developed in line with the Public Events Framework. The event may attract up to 60,000 people but crowd projections are difficult this far out.
About 60,000 people attended White Night Bendigo in 2018.

"Preparations for White Night Bendigo are progressing well with the full program expected to be announced by early September," White Night creative director Joseph O'Farrell said.
More than 200 applications have been received from artists eager to participate in this year's White Night Bendigo event.
Event organisers will assess the expressions of interest for the categories of installation, visual art, lighting, audio-visual, projection, film, music and performance exploring the theme 'everything on the land is reflected in the sky'.
"Bendigo will shine bright when White Night returns on 2 October this year," Visit Victoria chief executive Brendan McClements said. "The much-loved public event will give communities and regional businesses a boost while celebrating Victoria's arts and cultural strengths."

Among the local groups involved in this year's White NIght Bendigo is Yo Bendigo who will give their battle of the abnds winner a slot at the event.
City of Greater Bendigo coordinator of engaged communities Fiona Jemmett said it was a great opportunity for a young performer.
"White Night is a great opportunity for young aspiring artists to showcase their talents to a huge crowd in their own home town," she said.
Yo Events Battle of the Bands competition will take place from 7pm July 3 at the Old Church on the Hill. It is open to young people aged between 12 and 25 years. Registrations for the battle of the bands close on June 25.
