Acting premier James Merlino has confirmed the one new locally acquired case lives in the same household of an existing case at the Southbank complex, bringing the cases to nine.
"We identified this case thanks to regular and rigorous testing of primary close contact," he said.
"The public health team were able to contact trace the movements so there are no new additional exposure sites and that is a good outcome."

Mr Merlino says Victorian authorities sent about 4500 texts to people who had come into the state from NSW.
"Today is a good day for Victorians but the developing situation in NSW is a sobering reminder that this virus is with us in our country and will be with us for quite some time," he said.
Meanwhile, Bendigo MP Lisa Chesters has called on the federal government to fix the vaccination rollout after advice on the AstraZeneca vaccine changed.
On Thursday, the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation recommended the AstraZeneca vaccine should only be given to those aged 60 and older.
It came after a second Australian, a 52-year-old woman, died after developing a rare case of blood clots associated with the vaccine.
"There is mixed messaging and the government has to fix the messaging," Ms Chesters said.
"The announcement yesterday has already created more confusion and people are contacting us saying that they already had AstraZeneca vaccine and asking if their second shot could be Pfizer... It's confusing."
