Delladova is on a 19-man squad which has seven players who have previously competed at Olympic Games which includes himself, Chris Goulding, Patty Mills, Ryan Broekhoff, Brock Motum, Joe Ingles and Aron Baynes, in addition to potential debutants Josh Giddey and Josh Green.
The final squad of 12 to be announced in July, will head to Tokyo and also participate in prior exhibition games against the United States, Argentina and Nigeria.
Boomers and three-time Olympic Head Coach Brian Goorjian was excited by the talent and potential of the squad.
"Having so many talented players is fantastic but it will certainly make for a challenging selection process," he said.
"The fact that a number of first-time aspiring Boomers are pushing for selection to the ultimate international stage is testimony to the great depth of talent in Australian basketball.
"It will be great to have the group together to push each other, the focus of our experienced Olympians has been unbelievable and we won't shy away from the fact that we are chasing gold in Tokyo."
