And as the claim period draws to a close next month, Echuca Square Lotto co-owner Gavin Sullivan said he is keen to find the oblivious winner.
"We've had at least four people come in and lodge a lost ticket form, but we've still come up short," he said.
"We hope they come forward soon so they can enjoy their prize because we don't want this winner to miss out on this fantastic prize that would really set them up for life."
Mr Sullivan said it was unclear whether the winner was a local or a traveller.
"It could have been someone passing through who just called in to buy a ticket," he said.
"Because the Set for Life is a seven draws game, it could have been purchased any day between January 16 to 22."

The Lott spokesperson Ally Ramsamy said Victorians were being urged to scour their homes, offices and cars for any unchecked Set for Life tickets.
"People tell us they find their winning tickets in the most unusual places, from a car glovebox to the bottom of a reusable shopping bag," she said.
"We've also heard stories of tickets hiding in plain sight like on the fridge or in a player's wallet."
In Victoria, division one winners have six months to claim their prize directly from Tatts and after this time, customers need to submit a prize claim form to the Victorian State Revenue Office.
The sole unclaimed Victorian prize is one of the 22 unclaimed division one and major lottery prizes across Australia worth more than $22 million.
Customers can check their tickets at any licenced lottery outlet, online at thelott.com or via The Lott app.
