A BENDIGO Police spokesman said all lanes of Condon Street had been restored after a driver collided with a light pole at midday on Monday.
The spokesman said one lane on each side of Condon Street was opened just after 2pm before Powercor arrived at the scene.
The light pole fell over the city-bound lanes of Condon Street after a female driver travelling out-bound collided with the pole.
All lanes of traffic were restored just after 3pm on Monday.
Police are making inquiries about the cause of the crash.
Update, 1.30pm:
BENDIGO Highway Patrol and Powercor are on the scene at Condon Street to remove a power pole from the road after a car collided with it at about 1pm on Monday.
The Condon Street city-bound lane has been blocked off from Edwards Road and the out-bound road is down to one lane.
A Bendigo Police spokesman said a female driver, 46, was not injured in the incident.
"The woman wasn't sure how she hit the pole," the police spokesman said.
"We're waiting on Powercor to get here to clear the scene."
The silver Isuzu SUV has damage to the front right of the vehicle.
Powercor arrived on the scene just after 1.30pm.
Police making inquiries with the female drive about the incident.
Update, 12.30pm
POLICE are investigating what caused a car to leave the road and hit a light pole in Kennington this afternoon.
They have been told a 46-year-old driver hit the pole.
She does not appear to be injured and is not expected to go to hospital, a Bendigo Highway Patrol officer at the scene of the crash said.
Police are yet to establish the exact cause of the crash.
Powercor workers have just arrived and plan to remove the pole.
Earlier
A CAR has hit a light pole in Kennington and emergency services are on scene.
One lane of Condon Street is blocked.
The pole is on the ground and blocking traffic heading in towards Bendigo.
One bus has also been stopped but appears not to have been damaged.
Two cars appear to have been involved in a crash.

The incident is taking place near the intersection with Allison Street.
