This is a change from 92 on Tuesday.
The state's vaccination blitz also continues with 19,533 people vaccinated on Tuesday and another 28,485 tested for the virus.
The one new case is linked to the current outbreaks and has been quarantining during their infectious period.
The Age reports that the state government will announce an easing of restrictions in Melbourne later on Wednesday.
It is unclear if regional Victoria's restrictions will be eased.
On Tuesday, acting premier James Merlino said Victoria remained on track to have restrictions lifted later in the week.
"We remain on track to later in this week announce, as we have said we have planned to do all along, further easing of restrictions in regional Victoria and careful easing of restrictions in Melbourne," he said.
He said the two new cases reported on Tuesday had "limited community exposure".
