Chris Hamilton described his decision to extend his contract with Team DSM as a no-brainer.
The 26-year-old's contract extension with the German-based team has secured him a spot on the men's squad until the end of 2023.

"It was a pretty easy decision for me when I was given the opportunity to extend with the team," Hamilton said.
"The past four and a half years have been great, and the support has always been really good here.
"It's both a highly ambitious, as well as a nice environment that I work well in and I'm looking forward to the coming two years ahead with the team."
Hamilton has shown his strength on the international stage since turning professional with the team back in 2017.
He has proven his ability to take on various different roles during races and remains committed to doing whatever he can to help the entire team.
Team DSM head of coaching Rudi Kemna said the squad had a solid working relationship with Hamilton.
"Chris brings added value to the team both on and off the bike, and we are confident that this trend will continue in the upcoming years together," Kemna said.
"He is an excellent team player who is fully committed to our goals and he always brings a nice atmosphere to a group."
Since joining Team DSM Hamilton has posted strong results at several of the world's biggest cycling events.
Top performances include a second-placed stage finish on the recent Giro d'Italia in addition to sixth in the general classification of the 2019 Tour Down Under.
"We are confident that Chris is capable of continuing to contribute to bring home nice results for the team, both in an important support role and also in the role as finisher on some occasions, and together we will build on the strong foundations that we have in place to do that," Kemna said.
Hamilton and Team DSM are now preparing for a key European event this week in Belgium. The five stage Baloise Belgium Tour starts on Wednesday with a 175.3km opening ride from Beveren to Maarkedal.
