Police have questioned a man about a suspicious fire that damaged part of a hotel in Kyneton.

The fire inside the Newmarket Hotel on the night of May 25 started inside a bedroom on the building's second floor.
Police said three people were treated for smoke inhalation and all were now recovering.
Detectives from the Macedon Ranges Criminal Investigation Unit are looking into the fire's cause.
They said the man was arrested on May 27 and released without charge.
Their investigation is continuing. Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
