Acting premier James Merlino confirmed all four COVID-19 cases detected in Victoria overnight were linked to the current outbreak.
He thanked the more than 47,000 people who got tested on Thursday.
"This is real proof at how seriously Victorians are taking this challenge and how much we have been able to surge up to the system to cater for the demand but those testing numbers are outstanding and I want to thank all Victorians," he said.

COVID-19 response commander Jeroen Weimar said there were now 15,000 primary and secondary close contacts.
"We have 121 public exposure venues and I appreciate the number of exposure sites continues to increase as we do more and more interviews and as we identify new, additional cases," he said.
Central Victoria's exposure sites remain Bendigo's Hairfolk salon and the Axedale Tavern.

There were four new locally acquired cases of COVID-19 detected in the state overnight.
Victorians are only able to leave their homes for five permitted reasons: shopping for essential items, essential work, exercise for two hours a day, caregiving for compassionate reasons and to get vaccinated.

Other restrictions include compulsory masks in all settings outside the home, a five-kilometre radius ban on movement, and a ban on all private gatherings.
The number of active cases across the state have risen to 39.
Authorities administered more than 17,223 vaccinations on Thursday with another 47,462 people tested for the virus.
From Friday, vaccinations at state sites have been expanded to include those in the 40- to 49-year-old age group, for the Pfizer vaccine.
Meanwhile, Coles has had to impose a limit of two packs of toilet paper a person, after shoppers rushed to stock up.
On Wednesday, Bendigo's Hairfolk hairdresser was named as a tier two site, meaning anyone that visited the venue on Saturday, May 22 between 9.40am and 10.10am must get tested urgently and isolate until they a negative test.
Taking to social media, the team at Hairfolk said they were pleased to announce that all workers had tested negative to COVID-19.
"As a precautionary measure the salon is being deep cleaned today," a Facebook post said.
"We want to thank our clients so much for their incredible support, understanding and patience during this time.
"To other local businesses, our neighbours, our families, friends and complete strangers in our community we cannot thank you enough. Your generous offerings of help, food deliveries and messages of assistance and encouragement have been overwhelming."
Axedale Tavern was named a tier one site, meaning anyone who visited the venue on May 23 between 11.45am and 1.30pm must get tested immediately and quarantine for 14 days.
