"In the arts, particularly, it's been quite affecting having lockdowns," he said.
"It's had quite an impact on our sector and the tertiary education sector, as well, so in some ways it feels quite like a double-whammy for us."

The gallery on View Street had just started showing its latest exhibition, called All that is solid, drawn from the "treasure trove" of La Trobe University's permanent collection of more than 10,000 items.
"The artworks that we've selected to show cover a variety of different media - there's painting, sculpture, photography - and the theme that ties the works together is they all evoke ideas about institutional power."
Once lockdown ends, the show will be open until July 18.
"They're recent but historical works, and they help us to understand contemporary issues through a historical lens."
