It follows a joint decision on Thursday afternoon by Basketball Victoria and the NBL1 to cancel all South conference games scheduled to be played in Victoria in this weekend until a later date.
But Friday night's games between Hobart Chargers and Mount Gambier Pioneers and Saturday night's games between Launceston Tornadoes/North West Thunder and Pioneers will proceed as scheduled.
Those games will be played in Tasmania.
All other games scheduled for round seven have been postponed until later in the season.
The state government announced a snap seven-day lockdown on Thursday morning in a bid to curb the state's growing coronavirus outbreak.
In a statement released on Thursday afternoon, Basketball Victoria and NBL1 South said they would continue to follow the advice of the relevant health authorities.
The Braves women were due to clash with Ballarat Rush, while the men were to take on Ballarat Miners in the Steve Kelly Memorial Game.
Bendigo Stadium Limited general manager of sport Ben Harvey said the Braves would push ahead with its plans to honour club legend Steve Kelly at a later, but understood the health and safety of Victorians was paramount during the coronavirus pandemic.
"Hopefully in seven days' time we get out of this," he said.
"Friday night's game against Ballarat might be postponed, but we are keen to replicate what we were going to do with the memorial game, with all the footage on the jumbotron, the private function with the family and everything else.
"We will start re-planning again next week with the league on how it all looks, but we still want to pay tribute to a club legend and a great friend."
EARLIER: Discussions between Basketball Victoria, the NBL1 and state government are continuing with a view to gaining an exemption for this weekend's round of South conference matches.
The round, including Friday night's Steve Kelly Memorial Game between the Bendigo Braves and Ballarat Miners at Bendigo Stadium, has been plunged into doubt following the state's return to COVID lockdown from 11.59pm on Thursday.

Basketball Victoria and the NBL1 are hoping to obtain a 'professional sports exemption', which would result in matches being played, but without crowds.
It comes after the state government gave professional sports events, such as the weekend's AFL games in Melbourne, the green light to continue, but also without crowds.
The NBL1 is classed as a semi-professional league.
In a statement released early Thursday afternoon, Basketball Victoria said: "Games between Mount Gambier and Hobart will proceed as previously scheduled, as those teams have been re-routed through Sydney.
"We will have further information on the status of these games as soon as possible."
Meanwhile, Basketball Victoria has cancelled all Victorian Junior Basketball League (VJBL) games scheduled for this Friday.
This round will not be replayed or caught up due to previous catch-up games held for the February lockdown using the reserve weeks.
All Big V games for this weekend have been cancelled, while no decision has been made on the National Junior Classic, scheduled for June 12-14, which will involve a number of Bendigo Braves players.
The state government has announced a seven-day lockdown, due to end on Thursday, June 3, at 11.59pm.
