The Bulldogs, led by standout games from Madeleine White and Mia Ward and a five-goal haul from Tiahna Cochrane, kept their unbeaten record intact with a 16.14 (110) to 5.4 (34) victory.
The standalone CVFLW game was a carry-over match from round two and a rematch of last season's grand final, won also by the Bulldogs.
While Kangaroo Flat matched it with Golden Square for parts of the game and was able to narrowly outscore the ladder leaders in the third term, a Bulldogs win was rarely in doubt.
After leading by 41 points at three quarter time, the Bulldogs - in a show of strength and superior fitness - finished the game full of running to kick five goals in the final quarter, while restricting the Roos to a single behind, to push the margin out to 76 points.
Another imposing team performance was led by White, Ward and Monique Williams.
The Bulldogs had other fine performers in Bree Heiden, Carly Ladson and Cochrane, who followed her four-goal haul in the previous weekend's big win over Kerang with a bag of five.
Amanda Carrod (three) and one of the standouts of the Golden Square's 2021 season so far Lily Campbell (two) were the Bulldogs' other multiple goal scorers.
A loss for Kangaroo Flat snapped a four-game winning streak and resulted in them falling one spot on the ladder to fourth at 4-2.
The Roos had previously defeated Kyneton, North Bendigo, Kerang and Strathfieldsaye after coming up short in their season opener against Eaglehawk.
Best for the Roos on Saturday were Shelby Knoll, Eileen Mitchell, and Ruby Campbell, while Kylie Thompson, Millicent Hipwell and Molly Metcalf also featured prominently.
The road ahead for Kangaroo Flat does not get much easier, with the Roos set to take on the second-placed Bendigo Thunder (5-1) next Sunday at Dower Park.
Golden Square will be aiming for a seventh-straight win when it takes on sixth-placed Tigers (2-4) at Kyneton.
In other games next Sunday, third-placed Eaglehawk hosts Strathfieldsaye at Canterbury Park and North Bendigo makes the trip to Kerang to take on the Blues at Riverside Park.
Both North Bendigo and Kerang will be seeking their first victory.
