The Roos, who will unveil brand new uniforms, will move to top spot on the ladder if, as expected, they get over the 1-4 Bulldogs.
Despite the gap between the two sides on the ladder, Roos coach Jayden Cowling said Golden Square, with its proud netball history, was always a club to be respected.
"We can't take them lightly at all, they have been a very successful club in the past and are a bit of an unknown, but we do know they had a pretty tough tussle with Strathfieldsaye not too long ago," he said.
"We will be looking for a very creditable performance after last week's off."
Cowling could not be too much happier with how the season has panned out so far, with four wins and a draw against Gisborne from five games, and with no injuries to report.
He said an added bonus had been the great form of former star Golden Square youngster Ash O'Shea, after winning promotion from A-reserve for the Roos' previous match against Strathfieldsaye, albeit the youngster would not play against her former side on Saturday.
"There's obviously some room for improvement, but having that week off, we don't want to come into this game rusty," he said.
"Our focus has very much been about getting back on the court and reproducing what we have done over the first few weeks of the season."
Golden Square, which broke through for its only win of the season against the Storm in round four, followed that performance up with a 46-32 loss to Maryborough.
LAST WEEK:
Top four clash in LVFNL
It will be a 'Super Saturday' of sorts in LVFNL netball, with the league's current top four sides involved in direct clashes.
At Bridgewater, the second-placed Mean Machine will clash with third-placed Maiden Gully YCW, while reigning premiers Mitiamo will play host to big improvers Pyramid Hill, which enters round seven in fourth position.
Meanwhile, fifth-placed Calivil United will be waiting in the wings to see which teams slip up as the Demons look to build momentum following a big win over Bridgewater before last week's bye.
The Demons host winless Inglewood.
Mitiamo heads the ladder as the league's only undefeated team on 24 points, followed by Bridgewater and Maiden Gully on 16, with Pyramid Hill and Calivil United both on 12.
