The Miners' scrum was dominant and won most of the Monash ball despite a crooked feed.
Play was more balanced in the line-outs, while Bendigo was superior at the breakdown.
The Miners' command of the game was evident with seven tries and there could've been even more if it wasn't for some below average handling and lack of support at the breakdown.
By the end Miners scored a more than comfortable 43-6 win over Monash to move to a 4-1 record and are now fourth on the Rugby Victoria Premiership Reserves ladder.
Best on were David Gudge, Dave McDonald, Matt Boyle, Wame Ratawake and Jose Situlia.
Scorers: Gudge (2), T. Tereu, Boyle, Ratawake, McDonald, R. Kirk tries, McDonald four goals.
