"We were particularly strong and had placed a lot of emphasis on ensuring we finished off the game really well."
Despite the five-game winning streak it hasn't all been smooth sailing for the Thunder who've faced changes week-to-week.
"It's been a bit difficult to get the team set so that we can play the way we want, but the girls are getting along to training and gelling well," Alvarez Harris said.
"It's all starting to click."

Best on for Thunder, who move to a 5-1 record, were Williamson, Jacinta Louttit, Mc Donald, Gordon, Burt and Hannah Perry.

Meanwhile in the other games, a close low-scoring clash was played out at Tannery Lane between the Storm and Roos.
Storm headed into the match eager to break its losing streak, but the Roos proved too strong and hopped away with a 4.2 (26) over 2.4 (16) victory.
Kerang Blues came to town for their first taste of top squad Golden Square Bulldogs.
The Wade Street visitors were able to firsthand see the power of the Bulldogs in what ended up as a 122-point triumph for Golden Square, final scores 18.16 (124) over 0.2 (2).
