Captain Bryan Greenwood said the majority of money raised would go towards additional upgrades for their new station.
"It's really important for locals to come down and support us," he said.
"The state government can only fund so much and a certain amount of equipment.
"Everything that is additional on top of the standard funding we receive, we will have to purchase ourselves so fundraising would allow us to do so."
Mr Greenwood said the brigade relies on donations to help provide specialist equipment as well as maintain equipment that they currently have.
"When the public gets behind us, it does make it just that little bit easier to help reach those fundraising goals," he said.
"Obviously COVID hit us on the head a little bit in terms of fundraising but we try and do these fundraisers twice a year.
"We are hoping to do another two or three this year but that all depends on what happens in the future and the rest of the year really."
