KYNETON and Eaglehawk will be playing for the Pride Cup on Saturday when they meet in round five of the Bendigo Football-Netball League.
Saturday's Pride Cup clash between the Tigers and Hawks at the Kyneton Showgrounds follows on from Castlemaine hosting the game in 2019.
"We want to be the most welcoming and inclusive sporting club in regional Victoria," Kyneton president Hayden Evans said this week.
"It's something we're implementing by investing in all our football and netball teams across seniors and juniors, fielding our first all-abilities (FIDA) football team and now staging this important event that's part of what has become a national movement across all sporting clubs."

Originally launched in 2012 in Yara Glen, each Pride Cup game aims to send a powerful message to members of the LGBTIQ+ community in the region who experience mental health issues at a higher rate and are less likely to participate in sport and general exercise.
"These poorer health outcomes are not because of a person's gender or sexuality, but due to the discrimination and marginilsation many in the LGBTIQ+ community face," Belinda Brain from the Sunbury and Cobaw Community Health's Country LGBTIQ+ Inclusion Program said.
"The 2019 Healthy Heart of Victoria Active Living Census found that people who identify as LGBTIQ+ are less likely to participate in sports and activity.
"Events such as the Pride Cup send a message of welcome and inclusion to people of all sexualities and genders, while also fostering physical and mental health."
Saturday's Pride Cup event will feature a lunch where the guest speaker will be AFLW star Darcy Vescio.
