CAPTAIN-COACH Marcus McKern claimed California Gully's division one champion player award for the 2020-21 season in the Emu Valley Cricket Association.

McKern, who has spent the past two seasons with the Cobras, won with 585 points, while the opening batsman was also the leading run-scorer with 500.

The women's champion player winner was all-rounder Crystal West.
