AN EARLY-MORNING deluge saw 17 mm fall on Bendigo by 9am on Tuesday but the city is unlikely to see any more, the Bureau of Meteorology says.

Most of the rain fell in a burst between 7.30am and 8.30am, records gathered at the Bendigo Airport show.
Other parts of the state were hit harder.
Aireys Inlet topped the state with 117mm. It was the wettest 24-hour period for the area in 30 years.
BOM senior forecaster Chris Arvier said showers had eased off for a dry afternoon across the state's south.
A rain band was still moving through parts of northern and eastern Gippsland as the day wore on.
Melbourne had its wettest May day since 2012.
Bendigo can expect a sunny day on Wednesday as temperatures begin to rise after a cold Monday.
The temperature could reach a maximum of 22 degrees on a partly cloudy Friday before they begin dropping again next week, the BOM has forecasted.
