ONE Kyabram retiree is almost $1 million richer after holding a division one ticket in Saturday's TattsLotto 4151 draw.
The man held one of the six division one winning entries across Australia in the draw, scoring $974,297.53.
He said he always had dreamt about what it would be like to win TattsLotto.
"I never usually answer my phone at all... but I'm glad I picked up this call," he said.
"Oh my God! Oh my God! Thank you very much.
"Every single week, my family and I talk about winning.
"We've had a few little wins here and there, and we always say what we're going to do when we win TattsLotto."
The winner shared he and his wife would now completely overhaul their retirement plans because of the prize.
"You may have a plan, but you never think it's going to come true. We're going to have to take some time to really think about it," he said.
"But now we've won, who knows what we'll do!"
The man bought the winning 18-game QuickPick at Ky Lucky Lotto in Allan Street, Kyabram.
Ky Lucky Lotto owner Miles Gould said he and his team were celebrating the good news.
"We're just so happy for our winner. We are decorating the shop and will be telling everybody that will listen," he said.
"The town will be elated with this news!
"We've had this business for nearly eight years and sold over 30 division two winning tickets, but this is our first big one.
"This is what we have been waiting for, and it is such a good feeling to know that we have helped someone achieve their dream."
The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 4151 were 5, 31, 14, 22, 42 and 18, while the supplementary numbers were 1 and 8.
Last month a Bendigo TattsLotto player won $1 million after holding a division one ticket in the April 17 draw.
