Sandhurst made light work of Kangaroo Flat on Saturday afternoon with a 102-point demolition at Dower Park.
The Dragons wasted no time in getting down to work, booting nine in the first quarter to gain an early command.
The pressure didn't lapse in the remaining quarters as the Dragons continued on their terms to secure victory 19.22 (136) over 5.4 (34).
Dragons coach Ashley Connick said the plan was to continue with the momentum from the round three win over Golden Square.
"There's always concern having strong wins against other finals aspirants and to then go into a game where you're expected to win, there sometimes can be a drop off," he said.
"But with the way we started, to kick nine goals and put the game away so early on, was very pleasing and was brought about from even contributions from all the boys.
"It's a solid win."
The Dragons' best on were Noah Walsh, James Coghlan, Joel Wharton, Chris Down, Lachlan Zimmer and Liam Ireland.
Matthew Thornton, Wharton and Zimmer booted three goals each with a handful of others also contributing.
"When you have a 102-point win there are always contributors all around the ground," Connick said.
"Our forward line functioned well and the mids and backs have been solid all year.
"Walsh, Ireland, Oscar McKinley and Coghlan were all outstanding."
Connick said the Dragons had laid the foundations for a strong season to come.
"We couldn't be happier with their connection and cohesion since round one and it's gradually getting even better as we train and after each game we play."
In terms of injuries, nothing major for the Dragons, but there are slight concerns about how quickly players are recovering.
"There are a few sore boys, as most teams are finding, the guys are a bit sorer after a year off so there are a couple we will monitor ahead of what's going to be a big game against South Bendigo next week," Connick said.
Roos' best on were Nick Lang, Brodie Fry, Thomas Gillespie, Jake Hywood, Jade Mayes and Mitchell Trewhella.
Scorers were Max Johnson (2), Lachlan Wilson, Joshua Leersen and Fry.
