North Bendigo resident Troy Bunt, 48, appeared in the Bendigo Magistrates' Court on Thursday where he pleaded guilty to charges including theft and handling stolen goods.
The court heard on December 12 last year, police observed Bunt driving a red Toyota in the Long Gully area.
Police activated their lights and sirens to intercept him, but Bunt sped off down Eaglehawk Road, travelling at about 120km/h in a 60km/h zone.
The court heard on January 20 this year, Bunt was captured on CCTV in the passenger seat of an outstanding stolen white ute.
Bunt exited the vehicle at a Strathdale service station and he filled up the ute with 43 litres of diesel fuel. He and his co-offender left the site without paying.
Bunt was arrested on January 22. Officers found two licences in his possession that had been stolen from a Nissan ute earlier that month. Bunt made no admissions to police.
The court heard then on January 31 and February 2 this year, Bunt drove to two service stations in Kennington and Strathdale where he filled his blue Holden with petrol.
Bunt was captured on CCTV footage leaving the stations without paying for the fuel. He was also unlicensed at the time of the offending.
The court heard about 6.05pm on February 11, Bunt stole a bottle of whiskey from a Kangaroo Flat bottle shop.

From February 12 to February 16, Bunt stole petrol from service stations in the White Hills, Strathfieldsaye, and East Bendigo areas.
Police arrested Bunt on March 2 following a search of his North Bendigo property. He was interviewed but made no admissions to police.
Defence lawyer Rebecca Healy told the court while Bunt had a "considerable" list of prior convictions, his offending only began in 2014 when his life "spiralled out of control".
Ms Healy said her client's marriage broke down that year and he lost his job.
"He was an upstanding member of society who fell on bad times," the defence lawyer said.
Ms Healy said while Bunt knew he was facing more time in prison, the 48-year-old wanted to get his life back on track.
Magistrate Michael Coghlan convicted and sentenced Bunt to four months and 15 days in jail, with 58 days reckoned as already served.
Bunt was also disqualified from driving for 12 months.
