CREWS have contained the small grass fire in Elphinstone.

The blaze near Fryes Road was listed as under control at 12.20pm on Friday.

Two Country Fire Authority Crews will remain on scene for blacking out.

FIRE crews are on the scene of a blaze in Elphinstone.

Two Country Fire Authority tankers were called to reports of a grass fire near Fryes Road about 11.50am on Friday.

The two CFA units were from Elphinstone and Taradale.
