Designers Lucy King, Natalie Ryan and Libby Noblet have come together to present an exploration of their pattern-making methods and skills to produce eye-catching results.

The exhibition is currently open at the Living Arts Space located in the Bendigo Visitor Centre.

Ms Noblet said she was really happy with how everything came together.

"It is a stunning exhibition and I think the differences between each of us as artists really make our individual works stand out," she said.

"The colours all work together and the difference in scale, textures and patterns is beautiful."

Ms Noblet will have three main pieces on display along with some previous works.

"I will also have a mix of smaller pieces along with wall hangings, purses and tote bags," she said.

"The other artists have some amazing products for sale alongside their works as well."

Acting Manager Tourism and Major Events Jemma Docherty said the exhibition provided insights on the various stages of design work required to create such wonderful and vibrant patterns.

"Each of the three designers have presented their original artwork for the exhibition to explain the different processes they have used to create patterns on everything from textiles and ceramics, through to paper, metal and plastic," she said.

"The methods bring an explosion of motif, colour and pattern repetitions that have been successfully applied to many different mediums with great results."

Visitors are invited to the Composing Pattern official exhibition opening at the Living Arts Space on Friday from 5pm to 7pm.

It will be an opportunity to meet the designers and browse a range of products related to the exhibition theme.

Composing Pattern runs until Sunday July 11 and the Living Arts Space is open seven days a week from 9am to 5pm.
