A MAN has appeared in court after police allegedly found about 25 kilograms of the drug MDMA at a Strathfieldsaye property.
Adam Christian Currie, 47, fronted the Bendigo Magistrates' Court on Wednesday afternoon.
He has been charged with trafficking a large commercial quantity of drugs, possessing a drug of dependence with intent to traffic, possessing a tablet press, and negligently dealing with the proceeds of crime.
The charges stem from a police raid at a Taylors Lane property on Tuesday afternoon.
Detectives allegedly found commercial drug manufacturing machinery and 25 kilograms of MDMA tablets.
The drugs had a street value of $3.7 million, police said.
Mr Currie did not apply for bail. He was remanded in custody and is due to return to court in July for a committal mention.

DETECTIVES have charged a man after they raided a property and allegedly uncovered drugs with a street value of more than $3.7 million in Strathfieldsaye.
Items seized include about 25 kilograms of what were thought to be MDMA tablets and commercial drug manufacturing machinery, police said.
A 47-year-old man has been arrested and charged with trafficking a large commercial quantity of drugs, possessing a drug of dependence with intent to traffic, possessing a tablet press, and negligently dealing with the proceeds of crime.
He is expected to appear before the Bendigo Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
Drug Taskforce detectives raided the Taylors Lane property about 2pm on Tuesday.
Police said they also seized about 75 kilograms of powders, chemicals, dyes and binding agents allegedly used in the manufacture of MDMA tablets, a Ford vehicle, electronic equipment including a laptop, mobile phones and iPads.
