The determined athlete has been hard at work during the off-season with endless hours in the gym to improve his strength and pace.
The 2021 competition begins next week and marks Logan's fourth with the Bombers, and the first game couldn't come soon enough.
The Bombers start the season next weekend on Sunday May 2 for the league's Anzac match against Collingwood.
It will be a special round for Logan as he has strong family connections to the Australian Defence Force.
"My father was in the army, my uncle has been in the navy for more than 20 years and I also have some cousins in the army too," he said.
"My great grandfather was in WWII and served with the air force and was also a trainer with the Swans back in the day.
"I followed his footsteps as I was a trainer for North Bendigo for around four years before I started playing myself."
His career started a few years ago after he received an email from Disability Sport and Recreation about starting a new league.
He was onto it straight away and before he knew it he was signed with Essendon.
In the past he's been the Bombers' best and fairest, the club's leading goalscorer (31 in 2018 and 30 in 2019) in addition to several other achievements.
His motto with his approach to each and every game he plays is simple, have as much impact on the match as possible.
With just over a week to go before the season-opener, the vibe among the Essendon squad is strong.
"We're all really keen to get started," Logan said.
"We all gel together really well and have picked up some really good players from the draft that are sure to give us some great depth."
The team is already showing its top ability with three victories at a recent pre-season match day held last week.
One of the biggest boosts for the coming season is to see the competition head to central Victoria for round eight.
Essendon will host Hawthorn at the Bendigo Stadium on Sunday August 8.
The game on Logan's home court is of no coincidence as he pushed for a match to be played in a regional area.
"It's going to be a great opportunity to showcase the facilities we have in regional areas and hopefully we can make it into a big event with a crowd in addition to getting some big footballers there, so far Rick Ladson is onboard," he said.
Ladson is a premiership player with Hawthorn (2008) and played 125 games with the club during his AFL career.
He now currently coaches the Golden Square women's team in the CVFLW alongside wife Carly.
