Both Kelly's winning rides in back-to-back races were on horses sent out at double-figure odds.
Kelly guided the longest outsider of the day to a win in the benchmark 70 handicap (2400m) with a victory aboard Silence the Stars.
Trained by Stawell's Deanne Taylor, Silence the Stars won at juicy odds of $31.
The win was eight-year-old gelding Silence the Stars' first since saluting at Warrnambool in December of 2019 and followed its ninth-placing in the Terang Cup on Sunday.
As well as winning Wednesday's benchmark 70 handicap, Kelly was also successful in the preceding race - a 2400m maiden plate - on Beeston Lad ($11).
It was a case of fourth time lucky for Beeston Lad at the Nursery of Champions.
Trained by Tony Waddell, Beeston Lad had raced three times previously at Bendigo in the past two months for a pair of seconds and a third.
But this time the eight-year-old was able to get to the line first to break through for its first win.
The BJC's next meeting will be on Sunday, May 2.
