Smallgoods processor Don KR has confirmed its workers were evacuated on Monday after a safety threat was later deemed a hoax.

Don KR confirmed the incidents in a statement, saying the facility was soon declared safe in both instances.
It said the company took the incidents extremely seriously and would collaborate with Victoria Police in a thorough ongoing investigation.
"We have increased our security personnel and protocols during this time, as the investigation is carried out," the statement read.
"The safety of our people and the local community is our foremost priority."
Victorian Police confirmed it did not find anything suspicious after a safety check of the Richards Road facility on Monday.
